I think so too. It's a pain in the *** though, because I have to take the spacers off and on when changing to my track tires. I also have to keep a wooden stick in the car so I can jam the brakes in place to lock the front wheels up to take the spacer off, in case I have to change a flat tire.

Tell me about it!

I had to do it last weekend (on uneven ground as well) and it almost killed me! lol. I actually considered milling the back of the stock wheels so that the nuts that hold the spacers would fit properly behind the stock wheels. the spacers are not too thick so I doubt that I'd end up with any clearance issues with the stock 6" wide wheels.
