New wheels

I'm wanting to get new rims and tires for my 86 rex.. I want to go with a taller rim and low pro tire and also go wider. I want the wheels to stick out to be flush with the wheel wells{top of fender} I noticed the stock fronts are VERY close to the coilovers.
{pinky finger close} The back seems to be ok. I'm sure you guys have plenty of experiance with this..... What shoud I do ???

If you actually take time to look at the picture, you will see that it is 5 lug. which means 5 X 114.3/4.5

if that's your car in the picture, you have 5 lug hubs, so it's either the GTU or the GXL. Sport model is a 4 lug, same as base model? i know the SE is a 4 lug.
