EGI fuse has to be god its pink 30 under the hood closest to the engine right? because i swapped that with another of the same amps and it didn't change anything. This car was driving down the road and just died the last time it was ran. Hasn't started since. We tried to pop start it down a big *** hill and it tried for like 1 second idles really really low and no throttle response no tach response and promply died. it was on for maybe a half second. thanks for the help

yeah do a compression test to make sure its not the engine.

but if it just spontaneously DIED while it was driving, it sounds like the EGI fuse somehow blew (if it wont shoot fuel or spark...)

take the upper intake off, take the primary rail off (leaving the injectors in the rail and plugged in) and crank the engine to see if fuel shoots out (obviously watch out, this is kinda dangerous)

b4 i even care if their is fuel im gonna work on getting the spark i know they may be related but its not the fuse. The tach wont even budge when you crank the car... the starter fluid does nothing, i need some spark

i havn't done an offical compression check but when we pulled the plugs to do the flooded thing NO FUEL came out and when i turned the car over it shot air out the plug holes we put a lil atf in there and put the plugs back in, nothing, the car sounds like its got compression.

If you cant even smell fuel after cranking it then it actually sounds like the ECU either isnt getting power or isnt getting signal to start giving the motor fuel/spark. Look into it.

What would cause the ECu not to get power? i mean i don't know rx7's but the chances of an ecu going completly bad has to be a pretty rare occurance

Ive got a dumb question for ya but ive seen it happen on here before so ill ask. Does it have gas in the tank? I agree with everyone else on the coils. That sounds like the culprit to me.

I would say you either burnt your wiring, killed a fuse that you haven't yet located, or killed the ECU. All you have to do is whip out a digital mutlimeter and you can easily solve most of the above!

Does your check engine light flash at all? The coils very rarely go bad.

It sounds like to me joe blow mechanic had his way with this car and now your going to be the one to fix everything he mangled. But thats just how i see it from here. Whatever it is i hope its something simple.

Get a DMM and check voltages at the ECU, CAS, coils, etc.
