New TID mod results
Hey guys just wanted to let you know the results of the new TID, Aaron from Az made mine & did a fine job...
If you other Turbo owners don't have this mod yet, you should check into it.
I bet most orig. TID's are cracked and your losing boost there...They usually crack on the bottom, where its hard to tell unless you take it off to visually inspect it...
This TID is a much better setup then stock anyway...
Much quicker response and better boosting....
Happy motoring guys!

Wow! thanks Doug! I'm glad you enjoyed it. As far as pricing goes, I can do $50 shipped continental US for the TID with rubber connectors. I am currently getting a deal with a silicone distributer and prices will be around $90 shipped.
Thanks,
Aaron
P.S. I'll try and get some pics up ASAP.

Hi Aaron my name is Cody I own an 87 TII , I have been looking it to making/getting a TID for my car I live in Mesa, AZ. Just a side though, there is a local RX-7 club, don't know if you have heard of it but there is a web site if you wanna check it out. www.RCCAZ.com
Hey Cody, I have an 87 TII also! I have heard of rccaz but haven't joined yet cuz they never got my email to join a long time ago and I tried to go to the contact page on their site more recently and it didn't seem to be working. I met a bunch of guys at the Pavillions car show a while ago and met the main rccaz guy. I'll definately be joining soon though. Maybe we can get meet up sometime.

Thanks Aaron, yeah, good job!
Fingers: I have a stock BOV...As far as positioning, I think I know what u mean, I have taken off my air pump and that clears alot of area...Aaron sent me one to fit my needs, it just lacked a 4" rubber hose that goes to the fitting...No biggie...
Damn, I am SORE...A client was going to list his 95 flawless Corvette with my service, just 8k miles, and he was trying to show off for me & lost it....Smacked my side (Passenger) right into a telephone pole yesterday...Lost quite a bit of blood, head wound...slight concusion...
Guys be careful...I was lucky...I could be heading to 6 feet under right now....I took a pic, might get it posted when I feel better...

Ok, yeah I guess I shoulda said it only works with a cone intake. Well just let me know whenever you're ready for one and I'll hook you up. Doug, I am very sorry to hear that, but at least you came out of the accident in one piece. I hope you feel better soon.
Sincerely,
Aaron
