MA New Radiator recommendations

I need to replace my radiator. Any recommendations? I need it to work with the stock fan shroud.

To work with the stock shroud you'll need a "stock" replacement rad.
They are typically just all metal versions of the original.

The all metal (brass/copper) 2-row SCF #W0133-1603141 replacement radiator that I just installed on my S5 fit perfectly. The SCF p/n for the S4 replacement radiator is W0133-1602315.

I really do not like the factory style aluminum units with the plastic end tanks. Every car I have ever owned with that type of radiator, has sprung a leak due to the O-ring seal failing between the plastic end tanks and the aluminum center section.

I have the same replacement rad.

You're lucky, my plastic end tank exploded.

Ouch! I have seen that before with boost pressure leaking by a bad head gasket on a 5.0L Mustang engine that was still running the factory radiator... that setup was just wrong on so many levels.

Mine cracked, overheated the engine and cracked my front housing. Exhaust gas getting in the cooling system blew it up and cracked my housing even more.

Most of the aftermarket radiators work with the stock fan shroud, though some you need to rig up some spacers for the shroud and adjust things some to get it to fit. It's not bad at all though. The primary issue with the bigger aftermarket ones are they dont work too well with the stock intake in most cases. But not many folks still use the stock intake.

The standard all aluminum Koyo "sorta" works with the stock intake. The N-flow koyo does not even come close to working with the stock intake.
