New Problem with ALT on start up?
hey guys. started last night, Ill go to start the car up but the voltage wont come up like it allways does. And i hear Clicking behind the dash. First off i know i Might have a grounding Problem that im working out, BUT could it be somthing else thats well known? like a cylinoid or somthing. if i shut the car off and try it agian somtimes its fine, but happends 50% of the time, the alt wires and bat are Tight on there i even moved things around makes no diffrence, for anyone that had/has this problem or know someone that did and you know what to do would help, I rather get some insight before i tear it all apart!

my alt just died yesterday and it did that exact same thing, if your voltage is not <12v when running then the alt isn't doing anything, it should be ~14v. You could have gotten a faulty alt or the B+ wire could be loose
