New Pics. of '89 TII as promised

I picked up an '89 TII with 43,000 miles on it last week. I had to fix a few minor items (speaker, antenna, wipers, tires). I promised to post some pics. last week but it rained all week. It's sunny now, so here are the pics. I promised.

akageals,

Hey I've got the same story Paid a bit too much for a Series V in great shape with low engine miles.

Sounds like you got a better deal overall though as I've had to replace broken/missing stuff on mine

Here's your pictures in a more ez-view format:

Yo,

Dammmn! Good buy man. You can never pay too much for a car that hasn't been hammered on. You will actually save money because you don't have to replace all the busted up junk from the previous owners.

I got my GTUs with a whopping 38K on it...and I paid almost 6K for it. There is a price to be paid for cherriness...

Looks sweet!

Geeeeez! that is really nice.... Now if I were you, I'd leave that cream-puff bone stock... There can't be to many of them left out there that nice .... Hold on to that for 10 years and you'll get some great money for it......

Nice score x 10 !!!!

beautiful car man, tip top shape.

I would swap those tires out though, I used to have those on my car and they were the worst thing ive ever owned. I think i got 8,000 miles out of them before they went bald. Not to mention there was zero traction in the rain. If they are the Dunlop SP Sport 9000 like I think they are, do yourself a favor and get something else on there.

Those tires are brand new....I can't swap them now. They are Dunlop SP A2s. According to consumer reports they were the top rate sport coupe all-season tire. They were only about 86 bucks a piece and they seem to be great so far. They have a 50,000 mile warranty, handle/brake/steer well and are very quiet. So far I'm happy with them. I am keeping the car stock unless something breaks that I can't afford to fix, like the ABS unit for instance. With the new tires, the car drives like new. I'm happy with it. I still think I paid too much for it though.
