These things are not hard to get sideways at all...... it's keeping them sideways. The awesome near perfect 50/50 weight distribution is what messes everything up. Thats why 4door drift cars and S14 silvia's are so easy. Longer wheelbase and more weight up front help to keep angle and prevent the car from spinning out. One of the first things on your list of parts should be some DTSS Eliminator bushings from corksport and racing beat. These cars have passive rear steering that really screws up drifting and makes the car extremely unpredictable in higher speed situations. Don't get discouraged, just build the suspension properly and learn slowly, don't go to big for your britches or you'll end up in a ditch!

Don't pay a lot for one. IMO 1k is a lot for a 13b-re. All depends on how much you can spare, though.

Hey quick question hydraulic handbrake for a drifting car or not? If so how hard is that to set up. Thank you for your time.

In my opinion, I'd work on getting the car running and working well first off, then worry about the extra goodies for drifting. You've got quite a bit of work ahead of you, and I wish you good luck.

I don't really see it being worth the time honestly. Hydraulic handbrakes are great but if the line busts then your drifting is over for that run. Then you lose out on potential points/scoring and it could cost you 1st place or even 2nd or 3rd.

Shot block refers to just the engine block. Long block would include manifolds and such.
