New non starting symptoms

The car is not starting after sitting for 45 minutes. If you wait several hours you can restart the car. When this happens the car stumbles and blue smoke is present upon start up. What could cause this problem? excess flow from the omp?

Possibly the car is flooding and/or loosing compression, possibly the oil ring could have went or going out.

The car was just rebuilt this summer by Kevin Landers at Rotary Resurrection. So I know the motor and its seals are fine.

Could be a faulty injector leaking fuel into the engine after shutdown. Next time it happens, check a spark plug for fuel fouling.

I would check that the o-rings on the secondaries are good also.

Just because Kevin built it doesnt mean he can control all the factors that can cause a motor to fail. Do a compression test FIRST then start looking at other things. 5 mins of your life to rule out any engine problems is a small thing.

Leak down and compression, the compression only give you only that much information. Leak down will get you more in depth.
