ew, dont ever go with a stand-alone navi. they suck 98% of the time, and i have never had a good experience with them. i use eclipse, focal, polk sr, and other high end stuff, and even most of the magelin and garmin and stuff suck.
just, if someone wants a touchscreen navi, dvd, and all that, i go with the eclipse avn5510. its great, 2200$, but ****, its one of the best on the market.
and focal speakers, 600 for coaxial speakers, 1g for component!

peace

I recently did a head unit install for a customer of mine on his '88 vert. He had an old pioneer unit and all he had hooked up were the dash and door speakers. He asked if I could hook up the headrest speakers, so I figured I'd hook them up to the rear channel outputs. I bypassed the factory amp and console controls and tried it out. Sounded like ****. They didn't sound distorted as if they were blown, they just sounded like cheap speakers. They were likely just designed to be a spacial effect, somewhat like a home theater. Anyway, he decided not to use them.

not hard to do and you can pick up a decent head unit from between 100-500.
