new motor or new car

I just recently bought a 1987 gxl rx-7 bone stock. I know that I want to put a turbo on it, but would it be better to get a new car with turbo already installed or buy a motor from j-spec and do it that way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It would be best to import a motor from Japan. Have some fun, get a Cosmo 13b-RE and drop that in.
Thats what I was going to do with my GXL, which some horrendous bastard took my money and left with.

uh wtf, i wouldnt recommend this at all.
Just get a new car if you can, saves you a lot of hassle, but if youre attatched to ur current car, swap a T2 engine/drivetrain into it. Quite a bit more troublesome, but at least its "Your car"
