new motor- eng runs then stops then wont run again

this has happened a few times and before last night it was because my fuel pump was switching off.
so just to eliminate some variables
fuel pump is working fine and have good fuel pressure even after it has stopped and i try to start it again.
car starts first pop from cold
last night i went home home to start my car with the charged battery ( but i forgot to turn the charger on but it started first time anyway)
it started up and idol fine for about 5-10 mins then it stopped.
i still had good fuel pressure and when i tryed to start it up again it would start.
wtf is going on?
im pretty sure there arnt any vacum leaks

Are you shure the fuel pump is still receiving power when this happens? Put a DMM across the blue and black wires on the fuel pump plug and watch the voltage when trying to restart the engine. It'll show 0V when you turn the ignition on and should jump to 12V as soon as you crank the engine.

i think it might be flooding due to leaky injectors
im gona take the UIM off again and test them and then get them cleaned 9 which i can get done for free so im gona do it anyway)
if i pull the EFI fse out and turn it over for a while it will either A start or B be very close to starting so it seems like a flooding problem
My fuel pump is working all good now

Sounds very familiar to what I'm going through. I'm down to either an elusive vac leak or a bad AFM ground. try jumping the fuel pump check connector and see if the engine stays running...

ive done it before by accident but is that safe to do while the eng is running? i will give it a try but i think it must be a leaking injector problem. but then im no expert
