New injectors in - no firing, still works on old ones
Finally got the chance to upgrade my fuel system this past week. RC 1200s and 700s off of a forum member. Both sets are low impedance and measure at about 2.5 ohms. I have a hobby board made up with 10 ohm (measured) 10 watt radio shack resistors for each of them that plugs in near the ECU (leftmost 4 pins). Car runs fine on old injectors with the board bypassed, but with the new injectors and board in it just cranks and cranks and doesn't even try to catch. Tested all of the injectors with a 12V source and you can hear the solenoid click. I have tons of fuel in the lines too. S5 TII, supra pump, SAFC2. Really kinda stumped here.
Next step is to get the injectors flowed and cleaned I think. The 700s have been sitting in a bag for about a year. Do I maybe need a tiny bit more resistance for the ECU to be happy? I didn't think it was super picky about what resistance it is seeing.
Halp plz?

Will a T2 even run on bigger primaries with the stock ECU? Is it flooding? Do those RC injectors have the same style grommet and pintle cap as the stock injectors? Fuel injectors can cause a big vacuum leak if you aren't careful. I'm not sure if that would prevent it from firing up though.

Its not flooding. Plugs are dry. Everything seems like it fits pretty well. I'm not 100% sure it would run on the 720s, but I expected it to start and then flood, but it surprised me alot by doing what its doing.

Is there any way to trick the ECU into firing the injectors without the car actually running? I tried just cranking it by hand with the car on, but that didn't work at all.

Have you confirmed the primaries are shooting fuel into the engine?
With the 700+ CC primaries, it's going to be borderline to get the engine started on the stock ECU...
Pull off UIM
Remove two bolts of of primary fuel rail
Wire tie or tie pieces of wire on the fuel injectors so they do NOT pop out of the fuel rail!
Having a friend really helps here...
Remove primary fuel injectors from engine and have them so the tips are exposed
Have one person crank the engine while the other watches the tips of the primary fuel injectors
This will confirm if the primaries are working correctly or not.

So I had them re-flowed yesterday and it turns out I was trying to start it on some 800cc's. Gonna throw them in the secondaries for now til I can save enough money for a standalone. In hindsight, this wasn't the most well thought out plan.
