New guy

Hey evryone just bought a 1990 Rx7 FC turbo 2. Its only done 57k miles sinse new and its in immaculate condition totaly standard right now (apart from custom made powerflow cat back)

Ive just noticed that my head lights work but my instrument pannel and taillights dont light up.
I looked on the FAQ and it mite be a common fault with the headlight switch. How easy is it to replace them or could it be a fuse if so which 1 is it? i couldnt see the right one.

Thanx for any help

Check the fuses and test the headlight switch, it could be any one of those things. Do a search also on instrument panels in 2nd gen section, I know theres something in here about it. BTW, Nice car!!

The guy is from UK, Id go performance before looks. Exhaust and air intake first, then go from there!!

Actually, the first thing you should do is a complete overhaul. Change ALL fluids, change ALL filters, check all vac lines and coolant hoses. If they need to be replaced, do it now before they fail.
After that I would say you should upgrade the suspension. You can't always use more power, but you can always use the suspention.
The main power upgrade is a new exhaust. If it doesn't already have it, you should get rid of the stock cats. A cone filter won't give any performance gains unless you turn it into a CAI, so its not a big thing to upgrade.

Cool how you Euro guys get the sidemarkers stock.

Yeah, do a full tune-up, then start scratching that speed itch.

you got to RICE THAT **** OUT, HOMIE!

just kidding. that was a sick joke on my part. Seriously, buy a Haynes or Chilton's manual, change oil, and other fluids. Inspect brakes. any other routine maintainence.
That should get you started. Then, look into some basic mods, but be careful.

Get rid of those nasty foot pedals.

Full tune-up along with that.

Then the basics, intake & exhaust, boost gauge, boost controller, and FCD.
