New to grounding?
OK, I've never grounded anything before and I understand that it is possible to do it by connecting the wire or whatever to the chassis. I was wondering, can I just shove something like a paper clip or something up the solenoid to ground it as well? I ask because I'm still unsure of what grounding is.

Nice write-up Aaron! There is only one thing I have an thought about though. In reference to the additional ground at the boost/pressure sensor, doesn't that only apply to the pre- November of '86 cars? I found a Technical Service Bulletin about this posted in another thread concerning grounding. Obviously it won't hurt anything having the additional ground, but is it something '87 and up owners should worry about?
I recently put a few ground wires in to help and I agree with your statement about the "Re-ground How-To" threads on this forum just don't make sense. The only part I feel is something to consider is adding small (12-10 AWG) wires to the coils so they don't have to rely on the body for ground.
