just went and had new exhuast put on the 7 new cat by flowmaster and new flowmaster 40 searies single muffler to duel stright pipes. how long should it last its a cat back system and they said it would be fine..........

 

Yea, it should last a long time since flowmasters do not have any packing. The only thing that destroys them that i know of is being over heated. On my last motor, it was running lean and the flowmaster was just behind the headder so it got really hot and the baffles have come loose and are rattling around in there.

 

the muffler is after the cat right after the cat then to stright pipe man it suonds nice. it not to loud

my old cat was clogged and with the new one its like she can now breeth

 

this thread is useless without sound....

im leaning toward the racing beat header - pre silencer - corksport cat back as my exhaust setup.
