hey guys, i just recieved an re amemiya type b (boost up) ecu. when i tried starting the car it only ran on 1 rotor. It runs fine when i put the old ecu in? what could it be? tanks -alex

i do have an hks FCD on my car as well but the ecu also has the fuel cut eliminated as well. Is there any way that my FCD is somehow cuasing complete fuel cut with the two methods of fuel cut put together? thanks -a;ex

 

How do you know you are only runin on 1 rotor?

Where did you get the ECU and how do you know it was tuned by RE?

It is probably a bad ECU. If it was used I would realy think it is bad.

 

the engine reves really slowly and sounds like a pissed off helicopter. I got the ecu from rhdjapan and it does have an RE amemiya chip in it. (i looked for myself) I guess i should look into the fact that it may be blown. Are there any differences on the pinouts on the jspec ecu's vs the a-spec ecu's? how about prgramming as well?

I got mine on ebay, and I can't get it to work either. My car idles great with my stock ecu, but with the amemiya ecu, it starts and then dies real quick.
