New diff mount in, trouble getting subframe back on

Hey guys,

I just got done putting in my comp. front diff mount from Mazdatrix. I got the mount bolted up and reconnected to the subframe with the bracket that holds it to the subframe.

Now, when I go to reconnect the subframe to the two bolts on the frame, it seems as though I can't get it to line up. The two bolts are just to far forward for the subframe to reach. What am I doing wrong?

Oh and I forgot...it's an '88 TII if that matters.

You probably lifted the rear end up to far, you have to guide it those two front ones as you are picking the whole subframe up.

I'm not really sure. I pulled the subframe down to make sure it was the mount that was broken last week and it went back up just fine. After I swapped the mount today everything just seems like it is much tighter, and I can't guide it onto the bolts. Did I tighten the mount too much? I'm not sure...

I assumed you were talking about replacing the front diff mount, right?

Yup. The front diff mount. The install was pretty straight forward. Not exactly sure why it's so difficult now.
