Arrow New Clutch Slave, revs when in gear, clutch smell

A few months again I replaced the Clutch master cylinder and then a few months later the Slave started giving me problems so I had it replaced by a local shop

The part was not Mazda.

I now notice that when the car is placed in Gear it revs up 500 Rpms

There is a also the smell of clutch lingering.

What should I check for or adjust?

Should I get a OEM slave?

I didnt not have any problems like this prior.

Rebleed your slave cylinder.

Hard to put in gear also?

May be a silly question, but how old is the clutch disc?

the only time it's hard to get in gear is when it's cold, I have notice that. But once warmed up it shifts fine.

It's hard to say how old the disc is. The car has 103k on it. Previous owner replaced the engine at 60k. No clue on the clutch history but it was driving perfect prior. I will try re bleeding.
