No. It's the fact that the injectors are turning on that causes the hesitation, not when they turn on. There are ways of fixing that anyway.
has anyone done data logging on the N/A to see if RP's numbers of 59-63% duty cycle on n/a injectors is true?
Yes. It's not true.

Yea im about to ground my ECU to fix it, but i wasnt sure if it was the fact they were just turning on or the difference in fuel, i figured the latter but im no expert lol

yea it would be cool to be able to get an S5 AFM on the S4 or just something bigger

I'd be willing to bet that the s4 AFM is actually less of a restriction. The s5 does blend in much better and results in a cleaner look however.

I'd be interested to find out when the AFM actually does max out. I recall some guys hitting upper 200 rwhp's with the SAFC, and the air flow was reading in the upper 90's. If the ecu was reprogrammed for 720cc injectors, and the timing was tweaked a bit it would be a slick set up for a bunch of guys running hybrids with the basic bolt ons.

Is that your scientific opinion?

Put a multimeter on it's circuit then push the flapper through it's range of motion. Where the readings stop is where the meter is "pegged." Any more flow after that is unmetered. You can compare that max number to a car's meter on the dyno to get some kind of max-power coefficient.

The voltage coming from the AFM is not linear, so I'm not sure exactly how close that would be.

I read somewhere (or maybe i dreamed it) that an S5 AFM was capable of 550-600 cfm and the S4 was no better or worse. Not enough flow to make any power, especially for something that breathes like a big block. I think a conversion to a gm corvette MAS would make a huge differance. Wonder how complicated it would be.
