well its an 89+ so then its a gxl. looks like it has leather too.. what up with the front? is that like paint spilled on it? I would get it dude!, its 5 bolt pattern.

GO for it and take care of it, , upgrade it to manual and then come for a cruise dude. where do you live again?

It looks pretty good to me besides the front, and the price is right.

where did you find that car?
it wasn;t in the tri-ad or autotrader was it?

talk him down a bit like $1100, point out all the little things, like the mirrors, those are not the "original" ones etc. hah.

how far are you from kw.

just noticed that there is a tiny amount of rust on the wheel well and underneath the front of the door.

Yeah, i talked to the guy about the rust, he says its surface rust only (oooh... i hope so.... ) I have no idea what series it is.... it may be a pre 88 car...
I think I'm gonna talk him into letting me take it to the local mazda dealership and getting them to check it out for me... any idea how much that should cost? After that I may have a bit of additional ammo to use to lower the price... (of course, he already lowered it to 1200)
Where should I be looking for rust damage? Any other problem areas I should be looking at?

When I went to buy the FC in my sig, I took a printed version with me and checked it off as I went down the list.

I'd call them up and ask. Do you have a trusty rotary mechanic in your area?

so you bought that black car dude??

good job man,

its a series 5 dude, front bumper and taillights are series 5. If you looked at the interior, then the all the gauges would be in little circles.

autocrash, an insepction at a-spec is around 40 dollars, and i'm guessing Mazdees isn't far off from that... so expect around 25 to say 60 for a dealership.. personally i'd take it to aspec or mazdees if u don't mind the drive
