ok i was ridin around and saw and RX7 sittin in the back of a dealer ship

i went down there and looked at it today it has the GTUs rims on it and says GTU on the side its red and looks very clean

i talked to the guy and he said it had a blown engine so that sucks but still isnt goin to stop me

he said it belongs to a atterney out west of hear and was going to call him and see if he wanted to sell it

ok now 1st question how much would you guys pay for it with a blown engine

and would it be hard to put a 13b turbo from like a 89-92 TII i see they have j-spec engines on FC3S.org for like 1000 and would it be worth it ???

or just rebuild the stock engine??

If the car is a n/a then scrap the idea of swapping in a turbo. It's more work and money than people think. You pretty much need to swap in the entire tII underbody (tranny,rear end, ect.). However, if it's a TII, then I would go with a rebuild.

 

Dude, if you are in the midwest, there is a 87 T2 with a rebuilt turbo, monza exhaust, and cold air box selling for $2395. Its located in a dealership in Indy. 133K miles on the puppy. I think its an awesome deal.
