NEW CAR!!! any ideas? HELP!!
Whats up,
just got my new rx!! its an 87 gxl with 85k on the engine, and in great shape! Ive owned most recently a turbo supra and a legend, but never had a Mazda.
I dont know much bou the rotary, but i am gonna keep th body and interior stock, what are some things that commonly cause problems in the engine? wha parts should i replace? any ideas for some upgrades?
thanks!!!

A full tune-up will help alot. Full aftermarket exhaust if you're running stock.
Common problems... it depends. Alot of RX-7 owners have flooding issues, I never have with my 88 N/A. Though I have had several electrical problems (but that's kinda to be expected with an older car.)
Oh and my diff. mounts are shot so when I shift I get this nice BUMP effect.
Pretty much just enjoy learning about and driving the car. This was my first car (still is...) so I've learned alot and of course, still learning. It's a blast to drive. Enjoy your 7 and welcome to the boards!!
