new car

im buying an 87 tII which will be my second rx7 i also have a 90 n/a but wat should be my first upgrades im building this to straight drift car for the track so ne suggestions..... im doing it for my senior project next year just startin earlier.... i need ideas for best drift setup but not like amazing price.... start with performance then all the way to suspension and also body or wheel and tires size... ne suggesttions woudl be greatly appreciated

The TII is a good drifter even stock. Once you start reaching the limit of the car you should try and modify your suspension first since in drifting power isn't a real concern unless you have some large rubber.

**** upgrades... fix your problems first. Lots of preventative measures will most likely need to be performed before upgrades should be considered (IMO)

Learn first, then upgrade. A stock car with posi's can slide it around, when you get better, throw some suspension on there. Performance basically comes last. A TII has all you need. This is all in the "Drift Bible" anyway, which is actually a pretty entertaining DVD and something I thought all aspiring drifters own or have seen repeatedly. POWA OVA.
