New break pads
Ok, its starting to get worse and worse, Ive dealt with it for awhile now, but everytime I break even a bit theres a screeching that sounds like someone shoved a crowbar in the discs. What do I need, just break fluid or new break pads or what?
Change ur break pads. You should check the fluid anyway. Squealling happens when in the last few parts of the pad, they have a small metal part that when contacting the rotor makes the really high annoying sound.
get new pads dude, and you probably need new discs, since you let the "squeaking" go on for this long, the squeaking is probably the metal on the pads grinding through your discs, they arent supposed to get lubriacation
It is proly the little peace of metal that most brake pads have to indicate they are to worn down and need replacing. First go to auto zone and look for a product that takes away the sqeaking I think it is with all the other cleaners and degreasers.
you might get awaywith just 'turning' the discs, that is if they are fucked, it could just be that you have shitty pads and they squeak when you stop, but that is normaly a squaek not a crowbar noise haha

Napa orange anti-squeak goop has done well for me over the years. (bought the big bottle for like $2.50)
liberal amounts on the back of the pad and let her set up for about 20 mins before assembly. Anti-squeak shims can sometimes wear through. <pretty rare, but I've seen it more than once> The goop hasn't failed me yet.
Most metallic pads will be noisy without an anti-squeak mechanism of some kind. Its the vibration through the pad as the metal pad compounds and the rotor slide on eachother vibrating the junction between the backing plate and the caliper making noise.

Amen on the squealing Hawk Pads.
But when you jump on them, you'll stop so fast that it will ****** your head off!
I found that if I hit them hard everytime, they don't squeal as much--but I am afraid that I am going to get rear-ended!

I use the Hawk HP+ pads.
To be fair though, I didn't replace the brake hardware when I installed them. The hardware was still fairly new as the pads that I replaced had plenty of life left in them.
