new batt, spark is good, new gas no start
ok so around march i got my 86 fc didnt run when i got it, it sat for about 4 and a half months and the other day i really wanted it to start so i got a new batt. fuses, gas and tryed to start it....all it did was crank tryed and tryed but no turnover then i let it site for 5 came back turned the key and it started..for 2 seconds then died, then kept trying and trying then it started again and died again.....i dont know what to do i dont really know that much bout these motors kinda new to them but i need help if any one can give me some tips please let me know.

When you get it started, try giving it some gas and see if that keeps it running. NOTE: Don't give it gas WHILE cranking it over, only after it's running on it's own.
Try to keep the engine running for a while and see if the problem gets better. If not, start checking for vacuum leaks, adjust your tps, test your BAC for starters.

ok so i blew out all my gas line so its clean, now checking the fuel filter to see if its still good..i also wanna check the fuel pump but i dont know where it is on the 13b can ne one tell me

its in the fuel tank, all you have to do is lift up the carpet in the back deck and you see a large metal plate just undo it and it will reveal the location of the pump, so you can check it by disconnecting the send line and see if it squirts, and then if you wanan take it out to investigate more you can break it down into pieces and test the motor of the pump indivdually. but probablly if your good with mechanical stuff

Heck, just jumper the 2-prong yellow plug near the right side strut tower in the engine bay, and turn the key on...Go back there and listen for the pump running...

i tried that but for some reason the pump is very quiet thats why i opted for just undoing the send line to see if it squirts
