never been so scared!!!

so i'm cruising in my new turboII and i look down to see the temp guage climbing! i start to pull off into a parking lot and the needle is pointing where the guage says temp, but i also notice my gas guage is off the chart. now whenever i drive the car the temp and gas guages skyrocket and then fall back to normal operating areas. what couold be causing this?

Tony

i would check your thermostat and then also change out your coolant. i don't know though cause i am a n/a guy. but the fuel thing i have no clue. mine doesn't work at all. but i would check the wiring on the back of the cluster and also the fuel level sender unit.

sounds like an electrical problem if the gas gauge is whaked out too. id invest in an aftermarket temp gauge just to be safe.
