FL Needing pics of all jdm fc3s

Hey I'm trying to figure out what stock JDM conversion i want. I know there are several different styles of the stock bumpers and skirts out there but i cant seem to find any pics. Figured I would come to the people that know. Thanks for the help before hand. I have an 87 fc n/a. swapping in a S5 TII motor and tranny within a month god willing. Thanks again guys.

Several?
All there is is Series 4 and Series 5, and the Series 5 Turbo II sideskirts.

Also, get a S4 TII motor swap for your S4, it's 1000x easier than S5.

theres not much visual difference between teh jdm models and US models, just JDM cars dont have rear side markers, front side markers are bubbled, and they have folding mirrors and the FTP lense are different.. but visually they look just the same.

Heres a jdm blog site with rx7 members
http://minkara.carview.co.jp/car/1177/member/1/0

have fun clicking.. u dont need to know japanese to look at pics. just click on stuff and figure out the page layout than its easy.

does the jdm illuminate from behind?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-8...Q5fAccessories

i dont think ours illuminate from behind? i never looked at the faces off, but that jdm pic above looks OEM, i wonder if theres a trick to it, like sanding off the orange or something

That cluster is sick. I have a couple of clusters sitting around in my garage that I thought about trying something with. The FD guys do it with theirs. Take the faces off and using a razor blade carefully remove the orange on the back side of the numbers and lines. Then put white led lights in place of the stock bulbs. problem is ours are front lit. So if possible I'm gonna see if I can mount light sockets in the back of the housing some how. Haven't taken one apart yet to see if it's possible, but it sounds like fun anyway.

the FC cluster has both front and rear lighting. the "front light" is to light the needles. I'll post a pic tonight.

Stock Jdm ftps and fogs can give an rx a good look.

hmmm perhaps grabbing needles from some nissan cars could work and than light up the rear, refit with some LED bulbs mounted everywhere.
