Need Your Opinion Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!
Well i am looking at a Complete Turbo II S5 engine Swap which i am planing to put into a 90 Vert. the engine is a Jdm J-Spec that is under 100k miles cleaned, painted and ready to be assembled. So it is in pieces. It come with everything i need to put it back together and put it in the car to run besides the wiring harness and ecu which i am not worried about cas i heard u can use the harness and ecu on a vert. From what the seller says everything seems in"excellent condition". He says he says he has seen similar set ups go for $2800 on ebay but i have been watching ebay and seen the high a Jdm go for $1500 at the highest and even saw one go for like $1200 that was streetported. So my delema is that i was wondering how much would be a good price to offer him. I though $1000-$1500 would be a good price but i want anothers opinion.
Also i was wonder what a good price for a rear end was too.
turbo Driveshafts
the turbo rear
and turbo halfshafts
Help me out!!!!!
Whats a good price on these part?
Thanks
Riki

Ready to be assembled?? I don't know about you, but I would sooner buy the engine preassembled. Maybe by assembled he meant installed in the car.
I am not sure who told you that the convertible harness would work for a 13BT. if the 'vert was not previously a turbo (which it probably wasn't) the harness is not the same.
The good thing is that if the engine is disassembled, you will know exactly what you are getting.
The bad thing is that you will need to read up on assembly procedure and make sure that you are confortable with this much work.
If you know and trust this guy, the engine is worth slightly more than an eBay engine, but if you don't know him, you might as well use eBay.
Anyway, If it were my car, I would find a blown 13BT and rebuild it (exactly what I am doing) rather than gamble on a J-spec engine. That way you know what you have.
