Hey i recently purchased a 1987 FC N/A. I have been having problems fixing it up. There's really nothing i can do to it, besides an engine swap. Does anyone know a way to greatly increase the power under $2000? Otherwise does anyone want to buy this car? Thanks.

Hey, I just got an 87 na gxl also. My fuel pump was bad as it had sat and the gas had turned to mush. Try running some ether if you need it started. Check the fuel filter also, mine hadn't been changed, it appeared since the factory put it in.

If your window seals are rusty, u should be able to take those out near the mirror adjsutement.

Make sure your plugs are clean.

I am going to be getting an ignition amplifier (msd or crane) to have a better spark and also decrease my emissions.

New exhaust systems supposedly help a lot.
