ok i admit it i need help,,i should have taken pictures before i ripped out all the wiring,,but what kind of idiot makes all the plugs look alike?

so where can i find a book that shows the routing and place for the harness and plugs??

we have books that in vivid detail show just that on ford cars where i work,,they are called EVTM's are there books like this on the rx7 too

or maybe someone with some detailed pics of teh engine bay including pics of the top of the motor with the upper intake off.

Well, If you can read wiring diagrams and figure it out from there, you can check out the FSM, it has quite a number of diagrams, however it lacks detailed pictures. The haynes lacks as well. You can get the FSM at www.fc3s.org under the How-To section I believe. If you happen to get some detailed pictures of the wiring, please share, I couldn't read a wiring diagram if I went to college for it!

 

What about comparing to another car? Kinda like 3 dimensional technical data. My intake is off right now, so if you need pics, I have fresh batteries in my digital camera. I am at work now, but I can get youpics this afternoon.

I looked at the FSM and it didn't help me much, just made me think of some weird sort of art where you just scrible around and call it something!

 

Just plug them in anywhere; all of the grounds are probably shot anyways. hehehe

I always wondered what the relays are for up front. I removed two of them which I believe were for the automatic tranny.

 

Ok, maybe I don't have that book. That's the factory shop manual? Where can I get that!?

There's a whole group of them.
They are either for auto trans (dunno why the 5-speed Turbo II's need them?), electric fans, and headlights (and retractors)...
