FL Need step by stepinstructions on installing motor

Guys, I am going to attempt to put my 13b back into my 2nd gen. Are there any step by step guides on how to dothis? I have searched and come up with nothing. The localshops want at least $300 to do it and right now, thats $299.99 more than I have to spend. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you remove it? Go in reverse order.
Also did you check the FSM n such, when I was looking at them (I think it was for a 80 1st gen, there is a engine removal guide IF I recall, or maybe that was for FC, check it!

No, I did not remove the motor. My ex flakey mechanic did, I no longer would like to deal with him and really don't have $300 to have a shop put the motor back in.

The hoses should point at where they need to go, and the wiring has color coded, specific plugs for specific things and again, it should find its way into the right place. Consult the manual and it's not that hard.

I hate to point this out, but it's going to cost you more then $1 to reinstall the engine. You'll want to be replacing all the coolant hoses, belts, vacuum lines, exhaust gaskets, etc. so you don't have problems in the future. Now is the time to do this. Also new plugs, all new fluids, etc.

If the motor is ready to drop in there's not much to know other than get your motor mounts to position and line up properly in the groove as you're dropping it in. If your engine mates to the tranny ok the rest is hooking up wires and hoeses

i say go to your local auto parts store and buy a Haynes manual they are all over the place and for about $20 you cant beat it and you will have it for future servicing.
