Need someone help searching for vacuum source.
Hey whats going on everyone. I have already done a search for my problem but cant seem to find an answer. My problem is that I am trying to find a vacuum source and also trying to find a good place for my map sensor. I have an 88 Turbo II with a FMIC. The only vacuum line that I have connected is my vacuum for the omp injectors. There are 2 more ports found on that side and also 3 ports on the opposite side of the throttle body towards the front of the vehicle. I have already tried to search for vacuum but am not sure which one to use. I was wondering if anyone can help. Thanks again for you time.

If you ever run out of nipples for a vacuum source, AND have a series four turboII, then it's staring you in the face.
Go look at your BAC. Look just aft of the BAC. See the 1/4" nipple that feeds the Air Bypass Solenoid (mounted up and aft of the bac and is fed from the intercooler). Just step down from the 1/4" to 3/16". Done. I'd think it beats splitting off from another source by a large margin.
Lose the Air Bypass Valve. You don't need it's 17 second, once a day function.
That *seems* to be a real good place to source the vacuum for one of those Apexi BOV seeing how the Apexi has a matching nipple size wise.

OR...the next time you have your upper intake manifold off, go to where the SubZero Assist unit was bolted down. Drill out the single vac feed source for that unit, located IN the manifold and then tap and screw in a nipple for your new vacuum source.
Just in case: you chunk the Sub Zero unit and just drill the hole in manifold out to fit your new nipple size.
Help stamp out vacuum splitters, NOW!
