Hey i am sorry i don't know the official name of it but it is the grill located at the bottom of the front of the car. I wanted to know if i could replace it with the same air grill from a 87. I have an 88 vert and want to replace it with it from my 87, can that be done?

are you talking about the grill in the front bumper? as far as i know all s4's are the same and all s5's are the same in the front. grills etc.

Yes i am talkin about in the front bumper. What do they call that part?. I hope they match up. Does anybody know how to take it off? Mine is jacked off of my 88 vert so i want to replace it with the 87 so i hope the part isn't that different, they do look like each other but wasn't sure. Can somebody give me some advice on how to take it off?

no idea on taking it off. probably a lot of the metal clips and a few screws. all s4's have the same bumper. doesn't matter model.

88 & 87 NA bumper caps should be the same.
