Unhappy Helicopter Motor, Slug Car *Sadness*

I finally got my car to start (new ECU, T Coil, CAS, Lots of ATF =P). I got it up and it sounded ok so I decied to try and drive it down the street. I backed it out the garage and reverse worked find so I put it in get hit the clutch and it started going. I notices the RPM's were way up and i was only going 20 mph in 3rd gear i can only get to 35mph. So strolled home and checked under the hood and theres a patter noise like a hovering helicopter. I checked the vaccum lines they seam ok check the spark all sparking compression is at about 100psi didnt check face yet. Is there anything simple i could be im stuck also i let it cool down and it wont start again the cluctch catches so I dont think its that was thinkin it might be misfiring dunno.

Its possible that your clutch could be slipping.

Helicopter sound at idle? Maybe an exhaust leak.

If it is the clutch slipping, try not to burn the flywheel before you get it fixed.
