Need some info...
I am completely new to RX7's and I figured I would come to this board and ask questions, since on our site, I don't want to ask.
I am looking into getting an FC. I have an LS1 and a fully built Automatic transmission itching to go in something. I figured this would be the most economicable solution.
When I am going to buy an FC, what are somethings I should look for. Like particular areas of rust, body style, brakes, etc.
Any help would be appreciated...

Tech and performance -> rotary performance -> other engine conversions
https://www.rx7club.com/other-engine-conversions-non-v-8-118/
is where most of those v8 swap people talk. Can probably find some info there.
Since you're swapping, you could probably look for an FC with a blown engine. Shouldn't be too many rust issues down south. Bodys, you've got your choice of coupe or convertible. Brakes I think are all about the same. I think the biggest difference is in the Turbo verion's LSD.
Lots of info can be found in the stickies at the top, especially options/ standards features.
Also some info at this site:

Hope that helps.
