Strip off whatever that stuff on there is, wet-sand them with 1000+ grit sandpaper, buff & polish. You could also modernize them if you like https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/s5-taillights-%2Amodernized%2A-pics-392954/
Car looks really good otherwise.

Okay, I'm going to be a little picky and pretend that it was my car...

1. I'd also replace the boot (unless that's an old pic).
2. Put the S5 **** on.
3. Replace the cigarette lighter with the original one.
4. Get some FTP lenses.
5. Take the Efini badge off the hood.
6. Mount the front license plate in center of front bumper.

I'm one of those guys on here who would rather see the car as close to stock as possible.

Like I said though, the car looks pretty good.

get a new top, get a new fender, get rid of the efini badge, get some un-modified tail lights and for god's sake, take that ridiculous tach off your dash. the engine bay looks great, maybe get a battery box top.

Hmmm, I don't have a picture of the ****, but it is all black with indented numbers. Chances are that it is ripped, as I have never seen an S5 shift **** in great condition. Mine is ripped a little and tried to find a replacement in better condition. I couldn't. I find them to be much more rare than the S4 *****. However, I have seen a few in the 2nd Gen For Sale Section on this board.
