I want to get the jspec "city lights." Not sure if you seen or heard of them but they are kinda like fog lights and look exactly like the FTPs.

I bought H4 conversion lenses with the city light feature. I am going to remove the FTP lenses and have the city lights shine through the openings.

I took mine out. I love the way FC's look with the lenses removed.

LEAVE EM OUT

LEAVE EM OUT AND LEAVE EM IN THE DOWN POSITION. TAKE OF THE RUBBER SEAL HANGING OFF THE HOOD, THE ONE RIGHT BY THE HEAD LIGHT. THEN TAKE OUT THE BLACK PLASTIC PIECES SURROUNDING THE HEAD LIGHT. IF YOU HAVE A KONE INTAKE IT SHOULD LET SOME FRESH AIR IN THERE.

To make sure we hear him. Anyhow, I have seen some people put a mesh grill behind them. One guy even took the lens off the unit, left it bolted in, and put a mesh on the back side. It looked pretty cool, esp with something in the slot, nothing bare.

I just hollowed them out, hit em w/ a coat of high gloss black paint, and put em back in. I have gotten a lot of compliments on how they look.

I did exactly as defylogik posted, except I painted them black. Oh yeah, I have a Blaze Red car w/ a black interior. They look so tough...

That is Blakes car. He took the FTP lenses, cut them down to that, put some bondo on it to smooth and even it out, sanded it smooth, and painted it. Very nice job.

Looks naked to me. I still prefer either hollowing them out, or making them functional.

Don't waste your time and money. They're only 5W front marker lights, they put out no more light than the ones combined with the indicator on US-spec cars. For some reason my car had both, but the upper ones weren't connected so I converted (read butchered) them to FTP type lenses by gutting them to just leave the outer lense.

Looks like something is missing. I prefer the way mine really are. It looks agressive, but still very tasteful.

i was gonna do something similar to Angel Guard Racing Team, but haven't gotten around to it yet. i was thinkin of just leaving it clear, and trying to get like a flush mount with the lexan and the bumper, and putting some kind of driving lights in there, so it could be like the jap spec ones. also to **** people off at night with lots of bright lights.

Please post some pics if u have any Angel Guard Racing Team

It looks like **** without the FTP lenses. I fucked up my camera and it is being fixed. I will post the pics. Just cut two pieces of lexan and tint them any color with regular window tint film, mine are smoke colored lexan not home tinted. Put some weatherstripping around it and that is it...

I removed the pass. side one and painted the driver's side one. Sort of an offset look. Since I did this I've had a new driver's side just sitting in my office and lately I've noticed sand (I'm near the coast) in my engine bay on the open side so I just ordered another new one for the pass. side so I'll have new in both sides.

It looks shitty with them out. Why not just go ahead and take the turn signals and headlight doors off too...

Would it be easy to make em into foglights? Put foglights inside, wire em up, and maybe polish the FTP lense. Would look stock, and you have foglights
