Well, this is how it happened. Was driving home from work, havent driven the car in a couple days and i drove to work pretty conservatively so I figured it was time to hit the accelerator a little, got to about 6k when all of a sudden unknown liquid/fluid sprays all over my windshield. I pull over, a co-worker and I go and check it out, sprayed the hood and the headlights from first glance.

Popped the hood and the whole engine bay is sprayed with motor oil same as the fmic etc... it a mess in there. My house is about 2 blocks away so i wipe some stuff down start trying to check for any evidence of where the sprayed couldve come from but no luck, i check the oil and slowly drive the car home.
two streets from my house the car dies and will not start.

now that you guys know what happened and the fact i was an idiot for not leaving the car where it was when it initially happened my question is what couldve happened? anything like this happen to you guys? What should i check/do to get here started? The car is currently still at said street.

any tips / advice is greatly appreciated
