mazda rx7 electrical problem

mazda rx7 electrical problem

my air flow meter doesnt seem to work....i tested the plug that plugs into the afm, and it only has one prong that works with a weak signal. it is the one wire tht is brown with a white strip. what is the matter?

check out a wiring diagram and see what that wire is doing. you need to find where that plugs into the ECU and test it there as well, if it reads good there then there is a problem down the line somewhere and the wire will need to be replaced, or the connector is busted which seems more likely, once again test further down the line from the connector and see what happens, if results are spec then the connector needs to be replaced. good luck.
