LOCK YOUR CAR! I am not trying to sound like a dick but hundreds of people post everyother day mentioning how stereo equipment was stolen or other things were missing in the morning. If cars were locked probably 1/4 of the incidents would occur. However if someone hates you it was just a question of what they could do. If it wasn't your tank full of gas, it might have been brake fluid on your hood, or tires flatter than Calista Flockhart. Good luck repairing whatever needs to be fixed! Sorry that people did f*cked up **** like that to a 7.

That was not the brightest idea to do. Your gas tank was open and you tried to start the car.. You didn't inspect it or sent it to get it checked. You could have even bought a hand pump and check the fuel your self. If you were at a club and and u had a drink, walked away and came back would u drink out of it if it was now a 1/4 empty or 1/4 was added to your drink. I hope not. People are evil bud and hopefully someone was on empty and decided to steal some gas.

pull up the carpet in the back, take out the screws holding the fuel pump acsess panel, then the ones holding the fuel pump in, remove it, look inside and see if the sock is gumed up, if its fine, and the tank is just empty, count your blessings, if its gumed up, clean tank, and replace sock and fuel filter, add new fuel, and try it then. You may want to pull the fuel lines from the rail and run clean fuel threw to make sure the injectors don't get anything in them.

Hope its just out of gas. Good luck.

Well ****, you didn't say that. Were not being dicks were just informing you that a 200 dollar fix could have very well be a 4000 dollar tragedy. Oh well. You ended your first statement with. "let me know what you think." So don't bitch about how people are being dicks. Life is reality and people will do **** like that.

Haha, I don't think anyone was a dick, and without prior knowledge of the fact that these two statements (see quotes beneath) were in direct conflict of eachother, and one was not true, we based our assumptions on what you told us first.

So i wake up this morning to find out my gas cap door is open.....The engine will rotate but wont even turn over
In this first post you state that you found the door open, no mention is made to trying to start it first. The fact that you state "The engine will rotate but won't even turn over" second, warrants our belief, you tried to start it, with full knowledge of the open gas door.

I had to be at work in twenty minutes and i was in a rush and didnt really notice the ****ing gas door open till after the car wasnt starting.
In this second post you state that you tried starting it, BEFORE you realized that the gas door was open. We are not mind-readers so we simply believed what you told us the first time.

Might I also bring to your attention the fact that; WITHOUT KNOWING THAT YOUR CAR WAS LOCKED. I DID NOT KNOW IT WASN'T UNLOCKED. I am sorry my ESP crapped out on me. The only way I know to open my gas door, is to use the lever near my hatch release button, near the outside rail, of my driver's side seat. Without using a screwdriver or some other prying device, which you did not state was used on your gas door, I could not easily come to the conclusion that such stated event happened.

I am sorry you thought I was, or am, for that matter, a dick. Next time you post something, why don't you give the full story the first time, instead of making people guess things, and then getting mad when they make false assumptions, due to the fact, that you did not present all the information necessary, to make an educated guess.

--Fritz

Again I apologize if you find my response rough, but I do not appreciate being labelled a dick. If you would have provided all the facts, instead of the small portion you did in the first post, you would not have recieved the responses from all the "dicks". I hope you sort out your issue, and I hope that nothing went wrong. Thank you for the common courtesy, that I am sure was intended, but you forgot to include.
