Need some advice on a TII

Alright so I've been lookin around for a Rex for a while, near Ohio, and i was planning on swapping a TII engine w/drivetrain maybe into a N/A if thats what i find. but then today i came along and found this car

I know a good amount about rx7's but Im not sure what to offer this guy, as you can see its at a dealership so im guessing its not worth more than 3k, but i'd like some more opinions. he called and told me its fast, and i asked about the engine and ****, and he sounded like he didnt know what to say, so i figure its still the stock 13BT.

Any suggestions are welcomed thks again

whether it's fast or not should be the LEAST of your worries right now........lol....
if it's in good running shape then that's borderline fair price.......3500 would be nice IMHO........

here: don't jump into something that LOOKS good.........and above all DON'T BE RETARDED.......

nooo nooo bro, i wasnt asking him about if it was "fast" i know theyre fast, but i meant more if the engine was in good running condition, i doubt he knew crap about rotaries that's why i asked about compression and stuff. thks for the advice tho

thats a really good deal, i paid 6k for my T2 and mine doesnt have leather or working AC (but only half the mileage)

I would try to get money off for it having those rims, haha!

But yeah..test drive, look for rust, etc...if you can, get a compression tester..and check the compression.

In that condition (from what I can see in the pic) and that mileage, ehh, I'd say 2500-2900 max.

Go look the car over very closely and drive it. those pics of the body don't really tell us much except that it looks ok on the OUTSIDE.


BTW...I love the wheel held on with only two lugs....that looks safe.
