need some advice

my s4 wont idle until it fully warm up do u guy have any ideas? i was thinking it might be a vaccume leak

My '87 is doing the same thing. The car is supposed to warm up at high idle (around 1500rpm) for a few minutes. Mine stopped working and now I have to do it manually with the accelerator. If I lift off it dies when it's cold.

I don't think it's a vacuum leak because the car idles great once it's run for a few minutes. I bet it's a common problem and somebody on this forum can tell us how to fix it.

Your fast idle cam is not working properly. Use the advanced search feature and search in the proper forum and you will get a host of info regarding this problem.

You didn't specify what type of problematic idle you had, but the other poster stated his, so I addressed what could be causing his idle problem.
