In Need Of Some Advice.
I just Bought a 87 Mazda RX7 Turbo II for $1000. It has 95,000 miles on it, along with a $800 Custom Exhaust, stock turbo/intercooler, and an Intake, which all came with the car when I bought it. The owner before me said it needed a new "back left rotar gasket"..........or a new gasket at that. I was just wondering if I could get some advice on if the car is worth keeping?, How hard is it to fix?, who could do it and for how much?, and any other information that would help me out. Thanks.
Not sure what you mean by "back Left rotor gasket"
If it is a housing gasket, the engine will need to be rebuilt.
If it is a apex seal, the engine will need to be rebuilt
If it rear oil seal, the engine will need to be rebuilt.
If it is a rear coolant seal, the engine will (yes) need to be rebuilt
