need second opinion!!!
i have a rough running 87 turbo 2 there's a loss of acceleration, but when i did the "ghetto compression" test, nuthin happened. anyways Mazda dealer said it was rotor housing....does this sound right? would it happen fast, or over time? please help
What do you mean, "nuthin happened"? (when you tested)
Also, describe how you did the "ghetto compression test".
Mazda dealers are idiots when it comes to rotaries.
Even if it "was rotor housing", it would still be in conjunction with several other things...
Low compression happens over time, the lower your compression becomes, the more likely it is you'll lose a seal (short answer) and kill your motor.
Definitely give us a more thorough description of how you did the compression test... I.E. check valve removed, WOT, TOP spark-plug holes, warm motor etc.
