Basically I need either a description or scan of the s5 wiring harness for the two big yellow plugs on the engine harness (that go to cruise/wiper motor/etc), not the two that go into the ECU, the two tucked up under the dash. Thanks much. Oh, and searching was useless.

No s5 wiring diagrams there, and the other parts of the FSM doesn't much mention those connectors.

 

Do you have a standalone?

WTF are those two plugs under the dash for? Are those what go to the CC and the Wiper switch?

Oh, I have the wiring diagram book for teh S5 ... I can snap some pictures of it tomorrow for you.

Going Microtech, trying to figure out WTF they're for, and what I need to run back to them from the old harness for most of my stuck stuff to work (wipers, oil pressure, etc)

 

SonicRat...Whe I installed my LT8, the only things that didn't work were:
A/C
Wipers
Cruise

Everything else on your instrument cluster will work. If you have A/C you will have to splice a wire. As for the wipers and cruise, I didn't have to do anything. I separated that small harness from the motor harness and pluged them back in.

wiper switch is wired the same as S4 versions.

Cruise is slightly different.

 

Thanks, was just wondering if there were any other wires that went back to those two connectors that I might want to rerun.
