need quick help

how do you disconnect you odometer. i have a salvage title and don't have time to get it inspected. my van just broke down and i need to use the FC asap. i can't have more miles on the car then the salvage title says when i take it to the state troopers

are you sure its just that easy. damn i need to get some extra money and take care of all my legality problems. do you know the easiest way
to do disconnect it.

under the drivers side is the cable from the cabin. it is a think black cable connected to the rear part of the transmission. I think you will have to make a temp block off plate to keep any tranny oil from leaking out. nothing fancy just a small plate with one hole.

You can reach up behind the dash...way up there..following the cable and unclip it. Just twist/rock the retainer to the side and it will pull free. Don't pull too hard. This way you dont have to mess w/ tranny oil or going under the car.
