need question answered today about ABS?
does the 89 turbo II abs pump fit in a 88 turbo II because I know the 87-88 ABS pumps are different by experience but I need to know before I buy it someone help

Looks like the 1988 pump assy P/N is
F048-43-7A0E
while the 1989 pump assy P/N is
F048-43-7A0J
So they're probably at least a little different. I just took my ABS out of my '89 T2 so I have one to look at if you have any questions. I'm guessing the changes are small but the ABS computer might be tuned differently for a particular pump.
