did you check for vaccuum leaks? All the grounds are ok? CAS, AFM and hoses are all connected? check the TPS to make sure it's within specs.
double check your work and figure out which hose/wire you forgot to plug in. It should be plg and play.

well remember what was good THEN might not be perfect NOW. so pull out your voltmeter and double check the TPS, make sure your 5th and 6th ports are opening. Check to make sure your intake pipe is on securely. Check plugs and see is the spark-plug wires are within specs( with the right resistance).
take a break for a while and tackle this this weekend. Sometime all you need is a little of time away from the project to realize where you may have made a mistake.

DO NOT MESS WITH THE IDLE SCREW UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY KNOW HOW TO SET IT TO SPECS.
Please clear this up for me:
are you running on the HEADER only? you need the split-air-pipe to open your 5th and 6th ports ( maybe that, along with TPS are giving you bad high end?)

thank you guys that is some good points to tackle i ll dig out the volt meter and start double checking every thing tomorrow, thank you guys for your help if all this checks out fine ill be back again for more help .
im not so much post whoring as i am giving helpful info on other points. like how alot of people on here wont even attempt to read that god awful blob of words you formed on your first post. i got done with about 3 what should have been sentences and quit reading when i realised it was 1 giant run-on. it helps alot of this forums to not use internet form of words like wut and numbers and letters in place of full words. not that you did that but that along with giant run-ons get on my nerves. sorry if you dont find this helpful...
Hey Mr. Proper English, how about capitalizing some of your words. People may understand you better. I do agree about the hugmonguous run-ons, they're hard to sipher what's said, but no need for 5 comments and it. Anyway, sorry about your car, I wish I could help, but i haven't had that problem yet. Emphasis on yet. *sarcasm* I love rx7s. -_-
shesh! Sorry about my inproper english, dang! I was just looking for help on my car problems not an english lesson. Thank you though for your unsolicited advice on my inproper english. If you didnt understant what I wrote just ask. That would be the conciderate thing to do. Not bash the person. Anyway back to the issue at hand, not the english lesson. I'm going to check on these tomorrow. If all the things that I have been advised to check are good then I'll be back for more help. I do however apreciate any help with MY CAR PROBLEMS and your time.

Ok guys and gals I need some pro. advice, something fearce. And before I get started I already checked the FAQ and it didn't help one bit. Now here is the situation. I have 2 rx-7's, an 86 na and a 87 na. My 86 na has a streight body, good ac and heat. Everything works on it except I lost one of the apex seals on the rear roater, a busted drive shaft and the tranny was slipping bad. So to save money I did what any normal RX-7 lover would do. I took my bad drive train out of my 86 na and took the good drive train out of my 87 na and put it in my 86 na. I only did this because the body, ac and heat was shot in my 87 na. It had been wrecked but the drive train was fine, no problems. Now here is were I need the help. See it wont stay started now. I give it gas and it will kill it most of the time and it don't have any power. It won't get over 60mph and it heasitates and sputters like its not getting enough fuel. I double checked all my grounds and even added a couple more to be safe. I double checked my fuel lines with hanes and this web site. It has a brand new TPS, a new battery, new injecters, new fuelpump, new fuel presure regulator, new altinator, ( I had a k&n ram air filter kit on it but I took it off thinking mabe it was messing with my fuel air ratio and put the factory air breather on.) It has a new mass air flow sensor, new hoses and I just replaced the rear seal in the tranny, the o-rings on the oil filter tower assy. and new oilpan gasket. I have hooked every thing back up just the way it was. I even put in the ECU and CPU from the 87 na in the 86 na and it didn't help. So I just switched them back. I even cleared the codes by removing the negative battery termanal and holding the brake for 60 sec. Nothing is working and I am at a loss. Why won't it run like it did before when it was in the 87 na? What am I doing wrong??? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
