I've got an S5 Engine. I'm trying to decide whether or not to remove my emissions per my 6th ports not working. I know about the electric option with the air pump from rotary resurrection but I'm wondering if sacrificing the idle is worth leaving the ports open. Will it run rich? Will the idle be so erratic that it'd be more trouble than its worth? As of right now I plan on just removing all the emissions and limiting my engine to a few necessary hoses. Let me know what you guys think.

P.S. I'm in Mississippi and we don't have emissions laws here. At least now we don't anyway.

 

Lots of people fubar the car by removing emissions. You should really think through and research this.
